Our Products

Our products are the ideal food for adults and small children, for athletes and expecting mothers:

  • They are made through our original method, which we call “unhurried, unparalleled”. It takes 31 days instead of the usual 7, making San Marino Cooked Hams easier to digest because they are rich in essential amino acids.
  • Completely free of allergens (EU Directive 2003/89/CE of 10 November 2003, Enclosure III bis) and certified by the Republic of San Marino Department of Health and Social Security. Therefore, our products are also suitable for those who are allergic to gluten or milk.
  • Low sodium content (under 2%).
  • We only use natural herbs and spices extracted from plants.
  • Free of thickeners (substances added in order to keep water in the product during cooking; they can be of chemical or natural origin).
  • Free of flavor enhancers (e.g. monosodic glutamate), which artificially enhance the flavor of the product.
  • Free of nitrates.

Our three product lines:

  • The Specialties Line: characterized by its special production methods (e.g. vein injection) and by the ingredients used.

    Vein Injected San Marino Cooked Ham: Made according to the traditional homemade method, some stages are still done by hand.

  • The Fumé Line: Smoked according to the traditional method, with aromatic wood and berries, without using artificial flavoring. This method gives the ham a smoked flavor which is very delicate and, therefore, very pleasing even for those who normally don’t like smoked products.
